Meeting Times:
The class will meet in MC A516 from 1:00-2:20pm
on Tuesdays and from 11:30am-12:50pm on Thursdays.
There will also be a regular tutorials, normally conducted by Mr. Andrew. Tutorials will meet Wednesdays from 1:00-2:30pm in MC C420. In some cases, the tutorial slot will be used to make-up lectures missed during the first two weeks of the term.

Course Description:
This course will focus on the tools of dynamic general equilibrium
theoryand their application to various problems in macroeconomic
theory. The emphasis will be the setting up and solving of recursive
dynamic optimization problems and the interpretation of their
solutions as recursive equilibria. The
course outline lists specific topics in the order that they will
be covered and the readings that will go with each topic. Marks will be
determined as
described in the
course requirements. A printable

Exams
Information regarding the midterm exam:
The midterm exam will be held from 7:00-8:30pm on Thursday,
November 8th; venue TBA.
The midterm exam will test material through topic 3 on the course
outline. Problems associated with this material are included on Assigments 1-3. The format of the
exam and the nature of the questions will be similar to those of the
following past midterm:
Information regarding the final exam:
The final exam will be held from 9:00am-12:00 noon on Wednesday,
December 19th in the Hand-Purvis Conference Room.
The final exam will test all of the material covered in the
course, although there will be some emphasis on material covered since
the midterm (topics 4 and 5 on the course outline). Topic 6 on the course outline was not covered, so it will not be tested on the exam. The format of the
exam and the nature of the questions will be similar to those of the
following past final exam:
