A Message from the Society of Graduate and Professional Students (SGPS)

If you are a graduate, law or theology student, the SGPS is your student society. Your elected executive team and the staff at the SGPS office work for you.

Your student organization represents and advocates for you on all levels of University administration and lobbies the federal, provincial and municipal governments on issues crucial to the well being and success its approximately 2500 graduate and professional student members.

To keep you informed about our initiatives, we have launched the NEWS section of our website; we publish the antiThesis; and we send out regular emails.

In response to the needs and concerns of our members, we also run several services including your heath and dental plan, orientation, the Student Advisors Program, the Housing Listing Service and more.
