ECON 860 - Empirical Micro-Economics I

Calendar Description

This course is an introduction to the theoretical study of labour markets. The coverage is not meant to be exhaustive: rather we will be covering relatively few topics in relatively close detail. In this way we hope to give students some exposure to work that is at the forefront of current research, and also acquaint students with the idea that current research is a proper subject for critical evaluation. To this end, students will prepare and present a review of one or more recent papers in an area of interest.
