• "National Income Canada, 1870 to 1926". Paper given at the Eleventh Conference on Quantitative Methods in Canadian Economics, held at Queen's University, February, 1981.

• "The Development of a Statistical System in Canada: The Contributions of Three Men". A paper invited and accepted for a Fetschrift in honour of Vincent Bladen, (1978). Presented at the annual joint Conference of the Federal-Provincial Committee on Agricultural Statistics in Toronto on March 10, 1982. It was translated into French also and appears in the records of the documents presented at this conference. (27 pages in length).
