Welcome to Economics 280, Economics and Population Change.

In this course touching on Life, the Universe, and Everything we will study how economic pressures affect fertility, mortality, and migration, and how population pressures affect the economy.

All the materials needed in this course will be available free on-line at our Moodle class website.

Course Evaluation will be based on:

  • Four in-class labs, done in groups. 24%
  • One term paper 25%
  • Final exam 51%.
