Mid-Term Grade Forgiveness Policy

The following mid-term grade forgiveness policy is in effect in ECON 351* for the Winter Term 2009:

If your final exam percentage grade exceeds your mid-term exam percentage grade by 15 percentage points or more, the weight of the mid-term exam will be transferred to the final exam in computing your final course grade in ECON 351*.

The purpose of this policy is to give students who did poorly on the mid-term exam but who demonstrate substantial improvement on the final exam a chance to earn a respectable final grade in ECON 351*.
