The MFLS-2 was developed by the RAND Corporation and Family Development Board of Malaysia, with the support from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development and the National Instutute on Aging. The survey was conducted between August 1988 and January 1989 in Peninsular Malaysia. The data contains information from the 'New' and 'Senior' samples of this survey.
