Pedro Carneiro, Michael Lokshin, and Nithin Umapathi, "Average and Marginal Returns to Upper Secondary Schooling in Indonesia", Journal of Applied Econometrics, Vol. 32. No. 1, 2017, pp. 16-36. The constructed datasets are in the file data-clu.zip. There are three ASCII files in DOS format. Unix/Linux users should use "unzip -a". The data used in the analysis were constructed using raw IFLS files. Programs used to construct the final dataset are in the file stata-data-construction-clu.zip. These programs are only needed to replicate the dataset used in the analysis from the raw data. The raw data can be downloaded from the RAND IFLS website: http://www.rand.org/labor/FLS/IFLS.html The programs used to produce the publication tables and figures are in the file stata-programs-clu.zip. It also includes .dta versions of the three data files in data-clu.zip. a. This zip file also contains auxillary syntax files that are essential to run the LIV estimator. b. The file all_results.do is the master file that will run as long as the file location for data input is correct. It will produce all the main statistics used in the paper. c. The constructed data file (data.dta) should be in the same directory. d. The standard IV estimates are obtained by IV_analysis.do, using data_IV.dta.
