Description of the variables follow: cc: country code country: country surveyy: survey year surveym: survey month in text surveym1: survey month in numerics horizon: forecast horizon from 0 to 24 (Note that horizon=0 represents the actual values, which are not used in this study.) targety: target year of the forecasts gdp: annual gdp growth forecast. Unfortunately, the gdp forecast data cannot be made available here. Consensus Economics Inc. will not permit publication of the archive of Consensus Forecasts data which we used in our analysis. Their historical data are proprietary, and copyright, information which have been created for the private use of a defined group of subscribers only (for example, IMF, Harvard, Cornell, etc.). However, the forecast data can be easily collected from these places.
