There are three series in the dataset, with 182 (quarterly) observations for each series. The series are stored vertically. The first column contains the quarterly average of the Federal funds rate. The second column contains the output gap, measured as 100 times the log ratio of real GDP over the Congressional Budget Office measure of potential output. The third column contains inflation in the GDP price index, measured as 400 times the log difference in the GDP price index. The data begin in 1955.Q1 and ends in 2002.Q2.
