Files:

freform_JAE.do -- Stata do-file that generates tables and runs 
regressions;

flidata.csv -- CSV file that contains data on financial liberalization 
and control variables, downloaded from Ashoka Mody webpage;

gdn_fixedfactors.csv -- CSV file that contains regional dummies, 
downloaded from the World Bank's World Development Network database.

Instructions for use:

1. Save three files in the same folder, and change the directory in the 
freform_JAE.do;

2. Double click on freform_JAE.do.

Output:

Table7_AM.xls, Table8_AM.xls and Table9_AM.xls -- Excel files containing 
corrected version of AM results -- NOT REPORTED;

Table7_FE.xls, Table8_FE.xls and Table9_FE.xls -- Excel files containing 
new results for Table 1, Table2 and Table 3 in the paper, respectively;

Table7_T4.xls, Table8_ T4.xls and Table9_ T4.xls -- Excel files 
containing new results for Table 4A, Table 4B and Table 4C in the paper, 
respectively -- NOT REPORTED

Notes:

1. Use Stata version 8 or later, and install outreg, xtcsd, xtreg before 
running the program.
