Giovanni Caggiano and Leone Leonida, "International Output Convergence: Evidence from an AutoCorrelation Function Approach", Journal of Applied Econometrics, Vol. 24, No. 1, 2009, pp. 139-162. The file cl-data.txt contains annual data on real GDP per capita for 15 OECD countries observed over the period 1900-2000. It is an ASCII file in DOS format, which is zipped in the file cl-data.zip. Unix users should use "unzip -a". The first column refers to the year of observation. Columns 2 to 16 refer to the 15 OECD economies of our dataset, in alphabetical order: Australia Austria Belgium Canada Denmark Finland France Germany Italy Japan Netherlands Norway Sweden UK USA. The data are taken from Bernard, A. B. and Durlauf, S. N. (1995) "Convergence in International Output", Journal of Applied Econometrics 10:97--108, and have been updated to 2000 using the Penn World Table (MARK 6.1). The data are spliced at 1987 as the base year.
