This file has the bid and output data for firm A. Each row of the file contains the following columns: date, gen period, band, pbid, qbid, disp, totdisp, sysdem, sysdemmod, poolp, ind. date: The date of the observation gen: The generation unit identifier for that observation (firm A owns seven units) period: The half hour of the day (1-48) (Recall that period 1 is 4:00 am to 4:30 am and period 48 is 3:30 am to 4:00 am the following day) band: Step in the bid increment (1-10) pbid: Price bid for that band for that half-hour period qbid: Quantity increment bid for that band for that half-hour period disp: Quantity produced in MW by a specific generator for that day and half-hour period totdisp: Total production in MW by firm A during half-hour period sysdem: System demand in MW for that half-hour period sysdemmod: Modified system demand in MW for that half-hour period poolp: Market price for that period ind: Indicator variable not used in analysis The second file is called otherfile1.asc. This file contains the bidding information for all of the other firms that make up SO(p) in the notation of the paper.
