All data are in the file hus84.txt, which is zipped in the file
kk_data.zip. The data file is an ASCII file in DOS format. Unix users should
unzip it with "unzip -a".

The data come from the 1984 wave of the Swedish HUS panel. For information on 
the HUS panel see:

We provide the basic data set used in the estimation after selection of the 
estimation sample of two-adult households.

The file hus84.txt contains one observation per line. There are 819
observations. The variables are in fixed format in columns separated by a
space.

The variables, column position and a brief description of their meanings, are
listed below in column order.

mjob    2       dummy, 1 if male has paid job
fjob    4       dummy, 1 if female has paid job
hm      6-8     home production time male (minutes per day)
hf      10-12   home production time female (minutes per day)
wm      14-21   net hourly wage rate male (estimate imputed if mjob=0)
wf      13-30   net hourly wage rate female (estimate imputed if fjob=0)

med     35-36   years of schooling male
