The data for this article are GDP per capita for fifteen OECD countries
from 1900-1987 denominated in real 1980 PPP-adjusted dollars.  The primary
data sources are Maddison (1982, 1989) with later years from the IFS
yearbooks. 

The data are in ascii format in the file data.bd which has fifteen
columns and 88 rows.  Each row represents a year starting in 1900 through
1987 and each column represents a country in the following order:

Austria
Belgium
Canada
Denmark
Finland
France
Germany (west)
Italy
Japan
Netherlands
Norway
Sweden
