who has written the best fourth-year seminar paper in Economics. Ian's paper is entitled
"Structured Finance in the Crisis of 2007-2008: A False Sense of Securitization".

to Alex Lederman for the best BAH thesis. Alex's thesis is entitled
"Why Trade? Modeling the Bid-Ask Spread During a Liquidity Crisis".

We were very delighted to have a special guest at this year's reception,
Don Drummond, who was
one of the Honorary Degree Recipients this year. Mr. Drummond
received his
M.A. degree in 1977 from the Department of Economics and is currently
Senior Vice-President and Chief Economist with TD Bank in Toronto.
