The following pages were corrected in the eighth printing, which took 
place in mid 2009. Some of them should have been corrected in the fifth 
printing, but OUP let the fifth, sixth, and seventh printings occur 
without making any corrections.

pg049  The text following equation (2.08) has been corrected by adding
       "the absolute value of".

pg600  In the last sentence of Exercise 13.7, "\rho_2=0" was replaced
       by "\alpha_1=0" to correct an error.
       
pg659  The vector b was missing from equation (15.25).

pg714  On page 714, the title of Lovell's 1963 paper was incorrect. 
       Since there have been additional corrections to this page, the
       corrected page may be found in the directory for the nineth printing.

pg717  There was a typo in the title of the 1995 paper by Ng and Perron.
       Again, the corrected page may be found in the directory for the
       nineth printing.
